Airstreams return in the afterlife as – well, Airstreams.

A short journey of 147 miles from Baby Nugget RV Park outside Watson Lake YT to Dease Lake BC.

They say the journey is often better than the destination, so we stop at a big jade shop on the way. They make some items here but also send $300,000 boulders to China to be made into trinkets, marketed on return as “Made in British Columbia”.  The parking area is soon full of what Martha calls “silver Twinkies”.

On this caravan in 2010 some friends overturned and wrecked their Airstream.  A Canadian bought the trailer at salvage and is rumored to have made it into a houseboat.  We were asked to keep an eye out for it.

We do not see it, but Karen and David do and take photos to send to our mutual friends.  It looks fully repaired, is still on wheels, and serves as a mountain cabin.
